Today we Stood Out for Young People’s Mental Health! 🌟
📣 On World Mental Health Day, we went above and beyond to show our support and raise awareness for young people’s mental health. 🌍💙
💪 We kicked off the day with a fantastic family Daily Mile, where parents, teachers, and students came together to enjoy some fresh air and exercise. 🏃♀️🏃♂️ It was amazing to see the whole community united in promoting wellbeing!
🌟 Our talented Mindfulness Mentors then led a thought-provoking assembly, inspiring our students to take care of their mental health. We explored the power of positive thinking and discussed effective coping strategies. 🧠🌈
🎨 To commemorate this special day, we got creative and painted beautiful pebbles. Each one represented an act of kindness, and as a whole school, we created a stunning kindness snake. 🐍💖 Now, every time we see the snake, it reminds us of the importance of spreading positivity and compassion.
📚 As a follow-up to our amazing day, our homework this week will focus on mental health and wellbeing. Our students are excited to dive further into this important topic and share their insights with us! 💡✏️

We’re excited to share that we are now implementing the fantastic Zones of Regulation program throughout our school. 🎉✨
🔵💚🟡🔴 The Zones of Regulation is a fabulous framework that helps our pupils understand and regulate their emotions. By using fun and visually appealing colour-coded zones, we can effectively support our pupils’ emotional well-being across the school. 💪🌈
We believe that nurturing emotional intelligence is key to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. 😊❤️ With the Zones of Regulation, we can help our students:
1️⃣ Identify Emotions: By using the four zones – Blue (sad/tired), Green (happy/calm), Yellow (worried/frustrated), and Red (angry/excited) – our students can recognise and label their feelings accurately. 🌟
2️⃣ Learn Self-Regulation: Through various strategies, exercises, and tools, we teach our students how to manage their emotions appropriately and make positive choices. This equips them with invaluable skills for everyday life. 🎓💪
