🎨 Amazing Art! 🎨

Year 3/4 were AMAZING this afternoon. They used watercolours to put their own stamp on some of Claude Monet’s famous paintings.

Miss Taylor was very impressed ❤️🤍💛

How we finished our celebration of Children’s Mental Health week…🧠🧠🧠🧠

🎈🎈🎈

Each child had a balloon with their name on and we mixed all the balloons up.

Pupils tried to find their own balloon in just a few minutes. This was very difficult and not everyone was able to find their balloon.

The second task was for everyone to search for their own balloon but if they picked up a balloon that was not theirs they should give it to the person whose name was written on it. Within a few minutes everyone in the school had their balloon!

The balloons represented happiness.

We learned we will never find it if only looking for our own, however if we care about other people happiness, everyone will find theirs!

Well done St Joseph’s children for all your amazing Mental Health work!

❤️💛🤍❤️💛🤍

It’s Children’s Mental Health Week at St Joseph’s! 🌈🐾

✨ Let’s celebrate the power of our voices! ✨

📢 We are thrilled to announce that St Joseph’s is taking part in Children’s Mental Health Week, and our beloved school dog Arthur is ready to be a part of it all!

🌟 This year’s theme is ‘My Voice Matters’, and we are encouraging all our little stars to express themselves, share their thoughts, and let their voices be heard. 💬🗣️

🌈 We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. It’s essential to nurture our children’s emotional well-being, especially during these challenging times. 💪❤️

🐾 Arthur, our supportive and furry friend, is joining us in promoting positive mental health and spreading joy around the school. He’s always here if anyone needs a wag of his tail or a cuddle! 🐶💕📚

💭 We believe that every child’s voice matters. By encouraging them to express their feelings and thoughts, we are empowering them to take control of their mental well-being. Let’s create an atmosphere where our students feel safe, heard, and understood. 🤝💛

Visits to different places of Worship

We had an absolutely marvellous time this week exploring various places of worship ! 🌟✨ From a captivating Hindu Temple to a magnificent Islamic Mosque and a serene Sikh Gurdwara, our students had the incredible opportunity to learn about different faiths firsthand. 🙏

Arthur, Our Beloved School Dog, Adored by All! 🐶🏫🌟

At Saint Joseph’s, we believe in providing a nurturing and caring environment for our pupils. And one special member of our school community holds a special place in the hearts of our students – Arthur, our adorable school dog!

🐾❤️

We are thrilled to share with you a heartwarming moment when a group of our amazing superstars cashed in their hard-earned Dojo points to take Arthur for a walk! 🌟🙌

Arthur is more than just a furry friend; he is an essential part of our school’s well-being initiatives. He provides comfort, companionship, and unconditional love to our pupils. Research shows that interaction with dogs can reduce stress levels and increase happiness. 🌈😊

Our pupils adore Arthur and regularly look forward to spending time with him. The opportunity to walk him not only brings joy and excitement, but also helps build a sense of responsibility and empathy among our students. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🐾

We would like to appreciate these exceptional pupils for their caring and compassionate actions, truly exemplifying the values we embrace at Saint Joseph’s. Well done, little walkers! 👏🥇
