Ofsted Report

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills.

They inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. They also inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people.

Ofsted’s role is to make sure that organisations providing education, training and care services in England do so to a high standard for children and students. Every week, they carry out hundreds of inspections and regulatory visits throughout England and publish the results online.

Ofsted report directly to Parliament and we are independent and impartial.

St Joseph’s Catholic Voluntary Academy Inspection Report

St Joseph’s Catholic Voluntary Academy has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at the previous inspection (which was Good in 2019).

“This is a school where staff want the very best for the children in their care. The school has a clear and ambitious vision for how it can improve. It focuses on securing high standards of behaviour and ensuring pupils are ready to learn. As a result, pupils feel safe, respected and supported, and they enjoy coming to school,” Ofsted 2025
